Every time I try to leave, something keeps pulling me back...

So you guys, I've decided to do a "no social media November" challenge. Now, during my time away from social media, I'm going to devote myself to the GRE and getting back to fashion blogging. Well, lifestyle blogging because no worries; you guys will get a complete play by play for Revenge, Blackish, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder :)

I'm kinda excited. I started on Saturday, but I just laid in bed and scrolled through Poshmark lol I read my verse of the day then ended up driving my mother around. And today, well, was uneventful as well. I watched Pastor Gary Faulkner, Sr. then washed my hair and showered, then did paperwork and had my mother roll the back of my hair (I'll wand curl the front in the a.m.)

Tomorrow morning, I'll workout (squats and planks mostly a couple of push ups if I'm lucky) wand curl the front of my hair. make my hours by setting appointments and head off to the office to complete the paperwork I didn't complete on Friday... BUT the most important part of tmrw? I'll have my FIRST official post from my No Social Media November :)

Cause everything ain't what it seems. It's hard loving a woman, a woman like me...

I think you guys deserve an update.

I'm 24 years old, yall! 
yes, yes. As of Sunday, October 24, the Lord saw fit to bring me through another year of trials. I'm forever grateful. [and I'm ONE year away from answering "how old are you?" with "a lady never tells" lol]

Now, I've decided to leave this as an all fashion blog, and judging by my last post, I guess I haven't been so fashionable here lately! hahahaha!

Catch my selfies over on Instagram, I haven't used that tripod since July 21, I had FULL intentions of posting. But my photos didn't come out so nicely. Then the next day, my 17 year old cousin died and honestly, this blog fell COMPLETELY by the wayside. BUT I love life yall. I'm trying to live the life that I was destined to live, while simultaneously trying to figure out just what on earth that really is... it's a balancing act, but when it's LOVE you do more than you thought you could.

I also have a personal life blog. idk what to call it, it's more of an online diary. If you're lucky, you'll end up on it. And if not, then trust me, it's just my life. Nothing too juicy lol


Okay guys, I have paperwork that's like 6 days late at this point and I've not finished it lol

Make time to live a little.

So I am the absolute WORST when it comes to making time to live a little. I ALWAYS have a million and 8 things going on.. and naturally, that results in a LOT of stress. I'm too young to die from stress!!!!! The truly stressful things in life have merely begun for me lol I'm trying to cut back... Maybe I should make time to listen to music and blog instead of stress out... "The best way to appreciate the blessing that is to come, is to prepare for it like it's already here today."

School spirit [...] back to school and I hate it there I hate it there

So yesterday was the start of "Football Time in Tennessee" and in my mind I'm thinking, it's the last time I'd be able to sensibly get away with wearing this here white dress! For that reason, I decided that maybe I could go tailgate before the game. Out of 5 falls, I've NEVER been to a tailgate. EVER. I just didn't get the point of walking around hot with drunk people talking abt something I have limited knowledge of, football. But! I did it. I tried my best to be optimistic abt the entire thing but I wanted nothing more than a shower and to eat under air conditioning lol I guess it wasn't that bad, maybe I'll give it another shot when it's breezier outside. But that's a BIG maybe. 

Then of course, I ran into the people who KNOW I don't tailgate bc they've been trying to get me to go tailgating since 2009 lol naturally a photo was needed as documented proof of the action

Idk what's going on with my legs, I bet I think they look a lot better than they actually do as I'm doing awkward flamingo type things lol 

Well today is boomsday (sp?) and I think I wanna give it a shot. Apparently there's fair type food at 1pm and the fireworks start when it's dark. Maybe I'll coerce one of my line sisters to go with me if they aren't out with their boyfriends.Who am I kidding, they'll be there with their boyfriends smh we shall see the outcome guys!
