I've had this beautiful and unique name for 20 some odd years, and I have YET to master the foolproof pronunciation guide, (KAH-dee-YAH) say that really fast and you probably said it right then accidentally slaughtered it or vice versa lol. I'm a senior, graduating in December as an aspiring elementary school guidance counselor (you can keep up with my progression into my career right here. I just started this blog this year, but it's my baby. I plan to do a lot of professional development over there). I just realized I'm only taking TWO more classes that will count as A-F grades and I'm taking ONE of them right now, so I have a little time to spare, why not begin the blog of my dreams, you know?
So that's the student part and I'll let you witness the shopaholic part. I have an unhealthy NEED for everything I see that's moderately (or CHEAPLY) priced, in my size (or maybe not), that falls into my personal style. Most specifically, dresses and heels, I can't begin to count the shoes in my tiny overpriced apartment and I won't even mention my precious babies that didn't make it to school with me. It's incessant honestly and one day, when I have a career, I'll have a budget, until then, the mindset is "Life is too short. Buy the shoes... and clothes... and nail polish." (Anyone who knows me personally, understands the nail polish. Soon, you will too. It falls into that "unhealthy NEED" category)
I've been ALLLLLLL about looking good for 20+ years (except during finals and stressful moments in life -__-) and a couple of years ago, maybe last year, my memory isn't the MOST reliable, I purchased a "big girl camera" to take photos on because really, who wants to see photos like these on a self proclaimed fashion blog of the 2010s?
OR like these?!
Oh, the camera phone chronicles, rubberlike case in the camera's view and everything... College freshman, sophomore and junior photos right there guys, the genuine good stuff lol
So with my purchase you'd think my photos got better wouldn't you?
SO! After months of busyness, forgetfulness and sheer disdain for my appearance, I've decided to purchase a tripod and travel to places outside of my apartment to capture the outfits that make up my life. I'm REALLYYYY excited to have this dream realized. (and hopefully it spans over the entire summer into the fall!) Prepare yourself to see more pretty pictures like the one with those AWESOME birds of paradise Jessica Simpson strappy sandals. My pod is scheduled to arrive sometime between now and next week! So check in as often as you'd like! Hopefully, the FIRST post I do is a link up with the fashionable and FABULOUS Eboni over at The Fashionista Next Door! You guys have NO IDEA how geeked I am over this!
