School started!

Yup! And on December 13, I'll be crying across the stage. In awe that I'm graduating and I will not have to return to East Tennessee for any reason. Happy thoughts.

Well anywho! After I moved into my new place (with the most AWFUL wifi and cell phone service) I decided to partake in welcome weekend events, JUST because its my FINAL one (and trust me, in this town there IS NOTHING to do besides whatever campus offers).

I didn't take many photos. In fact, I didn't plan on posting but since I did get one or two, here they are just for you!

The first night is Caribbean Splash Jam, it's basically a stroll off for our Greek organizations with grilled food and games. I decided to keep it school spirited with a simple Bisou Bisou white peplum from J.C. Penney and these Gap orange khakis that my honey tried to talk me out of! Jessica Simpson's Dany shoes are literally the most comfortable and only made sense for standing for an extended period of time.

The next day was Karibu Tena (they've changed the name to like multicultural welcome celebration? Or something, it's my 5th fall so call me a creature of habit) and this is where multicultural organizations set up booths and basically recruit students to increase interest. After the "organization fair" there's a showcase of organizations where there's singing, dancing and of course stepping from the Greeks. This time I tried to remain true to my pink and green roots without being an obnoxious member lol my honey picked up these vibrant green shorts from Tommy Hilfiger. I paired them with my white Calvin Klein blouse and tied them together with this salmon pink belt from Old Navy.

Well! There we go guys! I'll do my FIRST Sunday FUNday post at the start of the new month. I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing but I hope it's fun! Lol
